WHALE WHISPERER

This education series explores cutting-edge cetacean science through in-depth examination of whale communication and intelligence in a single three-hour or segmented multi-presentation format. The full course covers basic cetacean biology and evolution and marine environment systems.

We examine the latest findings that support our understanding of cetacean communication, intelligence and their sophisticated social structures by highlighting cetacean neuroscience research. We also review how ancient mythology and archeological evidence mirrors our modern day fascination with cetaceans.
ECHOLOCATION & COMMUNICATION
This class reviews the latest information on sonar imaging, behavior and communication within several subspecies of cetaceans. Revolutionary research technologies reveal the depth and breadth of cetacean cognitive capabilities and the intricacies of their communication content.
